Dan has been putting together a Malifaux campaign in light of the success of the FSA campaign we've been playing these past few weeks. He's trying to keep it different enough from the FSA one that it doesn't just seem like we're doing the same thing twice but with two different ames. So far, it's looking pretty good. We have six people playing in it, I think: Dan, Jay, Ryan, Josh, Chris and me. Among that group, we're hitting each faction at least once (Jay and Dan are both taking up the Resurrectionists, Josh is the Outcasts, I'm the Neverborn, Ryan is the crappy Guild, and Chris is the Archanists). Since the game is so story- and character-oriented, we're trying to make sure the campaign is going to be the same. Special missions that your army is sent on based on the locations you try to spread your influence to, storyline objectives based on your faction and what it's trying to do, etc. Overall, it looks pretty fun.
I'll be stacking in with the Neverborn - the demons and nightmares native to the Malifaux world. They hate people. A lot. They don't care about taking over parts of Ashvale Crossing (the city we're playing the game in). They want to burn it to the ground and leave nothing alive. Sometimes it's fun to be evil.
